Jared Leto se debería plantear si de verdad le compensa participar en películas de superhéroes y villanos. Si su Joker casi desapareció del metraje de Escuadrón Suicida, ahora parece que Morbius, la última película de Marvel sobre el villano vampírico de Spider-Man, no ha sido del gusto de la crítica.

Protagonizada por Jared Leto, Adria Arjona, Matt Smith y Jared Harris, la película de Daniel Espinosa ha recibido calificativos tan maravillosos como “horrible”, “descuidada”, “mala”, “la peor película de superhéroes de Marvel”…

Acaba de estrenarse, pero las primeras reacciones no se han hecho esperar y lo confirman su 20% de reacciones positivas en Rotten Tomatoes y su 37% en Metacritic. Batacazo en toda regla. Regodeémonos en la miseria del pobre Leto:

Lo que viene a decir Leo Rydel es que la actuación de Leto no compensa para ver esta horrible película.

I enjoyed some of it! I liked Matt Smith. He was groovy. Jared Leto is better in this than WeCrashed.

None of the story sticks, and because of it, everything else falls apart. Questionable writing is rampant and the third act is nonsense.

William Bibbiani es quien acaba de sentenciar la película con su frase lapidaria: “Morbius es la peor película de superhéroes de Marvel en muchísimo tiempo”.

Nos gustan los superhéroes, nos gustan los villanos, nos gusta Marvel y, por encima de todo esto, nos gusta Jared Leto. Pero no parece que la mezcla haya funcionado. Al menos por esta vez.
